Questions about billing

Only the difference, and only for the part of the year you have left. When we move you up, Stripe credits the unused portion of what you already paid and charges the new plan pro rata from that day — so upgrading in month nine is roughly three months of the gap between the two plans, not a second year. Your renewal date does not move, and you never pay twice for the same months.

Nothing breaks. The limit is a billing line, not a gate: no request is refused at 10,001, no consent flow stops working, and no delivery is dropped. We reach out, move you to Scale, and Stripe prorates the rest of the year as above.

Email hi@stridee.fit and we switch the subscription the same day. Scale and Enterprise are not self-serve on purpose — a card that charges one number while a contract says another is worse than an email — so there is no upgrade button to press in the console.

Yes, and the same arithmetic runs in reverse: the unused part of the bigger plan becomes a credit on your Stripe customer and comes off your next invoice. It is a credit, not a refund — we do not send money back to the card — and it carries forward until it is used up.

Not on its own. You stay on the price you bought at, on the same renewal date, until you ask us to move you — and if you do, it is the prorated switch above rather than a new subscription. Discord support and your vote on what ships next come with the account, not with the plan.

Startup is answered on Discord, which is where every developer on the platform is answered today. Scale is the same Discord with priority: your thread is picked up before the queue. Enterprise gets a dedicated account executive as well, so there is a named person on our side rather than a shared inbox.

The things a company needs and a card cannot sell: SSO sign-in so your team reaches the console through your own identity provider, a dedicated account executive, onboarding pages we build to your flow rather than the standard consent screen, annual invoicing against a purchase order, and a contract to sign. All of it is arranged with us during onboarding and set up by hand — none of it is a toggle in the console.

Because this is a partnership more than a subscription. You are wiring our deliveries into your product and we are carrying your users’ provider grants, and a year is the horizon both sides actually plan on. The price is set so it is not the deciding factor either way: if you are building something serious on wearable data, a year of Scale costs less than the sprint you would otherwise spend on four OAuth integrations and a FIT parser. Startup still starts with three days free and cancels in one click from the Stripe billing portal.
